Important info...

Even holidays have a few basic realities that need dealing with. We've done our best to deal with some of them here but if you get stuck or annoyed with something just head straight to the contacts page and give us a ring.

The Plot

We've been very lucky to get The Quarry Plot which has fabulous views, is tucked away in a prominent position but in a quiet corner.

Making the surrounds all beautiful is a work in progress and we are still in the early stages.

Over the next few years we have plans to landscape the surroundings and put in a large deck but we're not there yet. So please bear with us.

How The Gadgets Work

There's lots of gadgets in the van and they all have their little idiosyncracies.

Before you throw something across the room in frustration, dig out the big blue folder in the useful drawer to the right of the sink - you should find the manual you need.

Pets & Cigarettes

As a family we love cats & dogs and there's lots of wonderful walks you can do that are pet friendly.

BUT due to allergies in the family we do not allow pets into the lodge itself.

We're also not anti-smoking - all we'd ask is that you do that out in the garden area - NOT inside the lodge itself.

When You Leave

We're always grateful when people leave the lodge as clean and tidy as possible.

It takes time but if you leave it as you find it, it is ready to go for the next guests or family members.

Then lock up all the windows and doors and put the key back in the key lock - thank you.
